Robotic Process Automation - Standard configurations¶

At UKG HR Service Delivery, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the technology that makes it easy to build, deploy, and manage specific automation for virtually any use case. It offers users the ability to build automations based on different REST API endpoints.

It allows usage of services such as:

Internal - UKG HR Service Delivery Platform: Request Manager, Smart Document Generation, Digital Process Manager…
External - Client HRIS, third-party applications…

Built on top of simple concepts, it helps integrators find an implementation for a variety of business cases.

Standard RPA¶

With our HR expertise, we have built some standard RPA configurations that are common to all clients based on our prod-eu/staging-eu servers. Please find below the list of current automations available during implementation.

[RPA001] Batch of requests	This automation enables to mass create requests on the Request Manager module of People Assist, using a CSV file deposited on the UKG HR Service Delivery SFTP server. Each line contains information allowing to create one request.
[RPA002] Batch of processes	The purpose of this automation is to mass create processes on the Process Manager module from People Assist.
[RPA003] Dataset import	This automation provides a generic solution to import/update datasets by dropping the corresponding CSV file on the UKG HR Service Delivery SFTP server.
[RPA004] Batch of company documents	Documents ingestion is the process of uploading company documents in mass onto the UKG HR Service Delivery Document Manager Core module (also known as company document folder).
[RPA005] Batch of employee documents	Documents ingestion is the process of uploading employee documents in mass onto the UKG HR Service Delivery Document Manager Core module (also known as employee folder).
[RPA006] Bulk Document Generation to Document Manager and/or Evault	This automation enables to mass generate documents and store them on the Document Manager employee profile and/or in the employee vault.
[RPA007] Request to Smart Document Generation to Request’s comment	This automation generates a document from a request and add it to the comment section of the same request.
[RPA008] Request triggering a process	This automation triggers the creation of a process based on the request form. It can also prefill the first task in the process.
[RPA009] Request snapshot to Document Manager	This automation generates and archives an overview of a request (as a PDF snapshot) in the employee’s folder.
[RPA010] Request document to Document Manager	This automation is used to archive request documents automatically from the attachment field of a request to the employee folder (Document Manager).
[RPA011] Request to Smart Document Generation to Request	This automation can be used to fill a Smart Document Generation template with the data from a created request. As a result, the generated document is stored in a new request for further processing.
[RPA012] Request to DocGen to Document Manager and/or employee vault	Each request created in People Assist can generate a document using values from a request and send the document to Document Manager and/or employee vault.
[RPA013] Request to Smart Document Generation to eSignature	This automation can generate a PDF document based on data from a request in People Assist, and initiate a eSignature process.
[RPA014] Request triggering another request	This automation allows you to trigger the creation of a child request based on a parent request. It can also prefill the child request form.
[RPA015] Request document to eSignature	This automation allows you to send a PDF file uploaded in a request for signature.

Applicable on prod-eu and staging-eu environments only.

Custom RPA configurations¶

Please note that any change request to standard RPA will be considered custom and will imply a dedicated project.

Custom RPA automations offer more options and flexibility but induce extra costs. For instance, you may want to use a custom automation to use employee numbers instead of technical IDs. In this case, reach out to your main point of contact in UKG HR Service Delivery.
